Our choral conductor, Martha Campanile is Music Director of the Moriches Choral Society as well as the Choral Conductor for BAFFA. Mrs. Campanile graduated with a B.S. degree from Eastern Nazarene College in Massachusetts and has an M.S. degree from Western Michigan University. She has done extensive post-graduate work at the prestigious Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, and has participated in International Choral Conducting Workshops in Norway, France, Scotland, and Austria. Martha has been the guest conductor at various festivals, including NMEA, SCMEA and HMEA, as well as substituting at various local churches as organist. Mrs. Campanile is also an adjudicator for NYSSMA All-State voice and Major Choral Organizations. She maintains a private studio for voice and piano. Mrs. Campanile is Children’s Chorus director of the Brookhaven Choral Festival and a supervising teacher for SUNY Fredonia. Mrs. Campanile has been recognized for her contributions to the Arts by the Town of Brookhaven Office of Women’s Services. Mrs. Campanile believes music is a sharing experience and she loves to share music with children of all ages.
